Official Scouting Report

10/13/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Springfield, MA Wyatt worked out in the OF and on the mound during his last workout with The Factory. Defensively, Wyatt showed an aggressive approach to the ball through efficient footwork. He takes good angles, covers ground, and has a clean exchange with a loose/consistent arm to his cut off man. On the mound, this RHP has good balance over the rubber and a clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, lands with a proper length stride toward home, and he is around the zone with his pitches. At the plate, Wyatt has good balance, a square set-up, and he swings on plane. He makes square contact and can hit to all fields. Overall skills can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
