01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Wyatt continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities is solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and utilizes his quick feet, covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line zip to his target. At the plate he shows as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick (90 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. He has strength in his swing and he works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, his righty has a 3 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 76-80 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches, working both sides of the plate.
