12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Wyatt is a 2025 1B/OF who showcased his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. At 1B, he starts in a relaxed and athletic position. He has a good first step, fields from a low position, and has his hands out front. He has accurate throws with a 74 mph raw velocity. At the plate, he has a square stance and loose hands. He has a short-square stride and fluid rhythm. His swing path was on path and he made consistent contact. He produced a lot of line drives and showed some gap-to-gap power. With a year left to grow and develop, we foresee that Wyatt will continue to grow as a ball player and catch the eyes of scouts.

09/10/2023 - National Showcase - Boise, ID Wyatt is an athletic 6ft 1/185 OF/IB in the 2025 class. On the grass, he shows active feet and covers his defensive zone well. He works to get behind the baseball with a solid drop step. Squares his body to the baseball and has a quick exchange. Has a 3qtr. release and working to throw the top of the baseball will help improve accuracy. On the dirt, he has pre-pitch actions and his feet are in sync with his body. Covers ground and has solid bag awareness. Working to sink his hips in his fielding position will allow him to play under the ball and read hops. At the plate, he begins in a squared stance and gains a short stride. Gets into his load and his balance is inside his feet. Flashed hard contact (81 exit velo) and line drive production. Overall, Wyatt is a future prospect with solid a solid skill set. Working to improve arm strength will elevate is stock.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
