05/27/2018 - College PREP - Salem, OR Wyatt is a hardworking 2B/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set. In the field, Wyatt plays with agile actions and makes all the plays. He presents his glove and fields the ball in an athletic position. Wyatt has a quick, clean exchange leading into a short arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a quick release showing strong, accurate throws across the diamond. Offensively, Wyatt has an athletic setup with a centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with an on-time stride as he partially uses his lower half throughout his swing. He has an upward swing path and is developing bat speed. Wyatt shows the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field. On the mound, Wyatt has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a clean arm action and extends through his release. Wyatt stays square to home plate with a controlled landing. He effectively uses his front side and does a nice job pivoting off his back foot. He commands 3 pitches with good movement. Overall, Wyatt is a well-rounded prospect who has potential to get even better.
