01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Wynn continued to show as a prospect at the UAAAPS Tournament. In the field, Wynn centers the ball in the middle of his body and fields in a square position. He has a clean exchange and keeps his throws consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed which leads to hard contact and line drives. Wynn is a skilled prospect who should find success in this, his senior season.

Wynn is a 2018 2B prospect with a strong build. At 2B, Wynn plays through the ball and throws from multiple arm angles. He shows the ability to be patient on double play feeds as well. If he continues to present a low/early glove and exchange the ball in front of his body, he will become more fluid when fielding ground balls. At the plate, Wynn has a compact swing and shows the ability to drive the ball with some power. If he continues to attack the inside part of the ball and get extension through contact, he will be a more consistent line drive hitter. Wynn shows a good work ethic and will continue to improve with experience.
06/17/2017 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18)
Wynn continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and he has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now showing solid hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, (86 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball exploding off the bat centered and utilizes all fields with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 5 for 12 with 2 2B and a 3B. Defensively, he attacks balls, plays through well, and presents soft / sure hands out front. He gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy across the diamond. Mental makeup is a plus as he is extremely coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
03/05/2017 - National Tryout Plus - Plainview (Lubbock), TX
Wynn is a talented shortstop prospect who has skill in the field and at the plate. As a SS, Wynn has effective pre-pitch actions and plays with quick footwork allowing him to cover good ground. He fields the ball squarely with soft hands. He has a clean exchange leading into a short, loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 slot. Wynn plays with momentum through the baseball producing online, strong throws. Offensively, Wynn has a square stance with a centered balance and firm front side. He maintains direction with his stride and uses his lower half throughout his swing. Wynn has an on-plane swing path consistently landing the barrel to the baseball. Wynn shows solid contact to the pull side. Overall, Wynn has skill on both sides of the ball and talent to get even better.

Wynn continues to show improvements in his baseball tools. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he plays through a low approach. Glove action is soft / clean and he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry across the diamond. At the plate, he shows a crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. Hands stay inside the baseball utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
07/18/2016 - College PREP - Plano (DFW), TX
Wynn continues to show a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a solid runner at 7.32. At SS, he displays smooth, fluid actions. Feet are quick as he moves well laterally, displaying range. He plays through balls and presents glove well out front. Hands / feet work well together and he shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power is best shown to the pull side and will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently.
12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2
Wooldridge is a 2B that will graduate in 2018. Defensively, Wynn displayed a proper pre-pitch preparation and presented the glove with proper angle. The eyes stay down on the backhand technique and accuracy is present to throws. Adding fluidity to the actions will increase ability to play through the baseball which will add carry to throws. Wynn made all the routine plays all tournament long. At the plate, Wooldridge shows simple actions and works the hands into a proper hitting position. The bat path is direct to the baseball and the eyes stay down through contact well as the hips and hands work with coordination and driving through the baseball with extension will add to backspin for carry on line-drives. With years ahead to improve, continued hard work will be allow Wynn to get the most out of his abilities.
10/11/2015 - College PREP - Abilene, TX
Wynn is a RHH MIF who has an athletic frame. With the bat, this righty shows a balanced/athletic setup with a solid base. He has rhythm to load, waits for his pitch and swings on a level path. He hits the ball where it's pitched and drives it to all parts of the field. Swinging on a shorter/more direct path with increased bat speed will result in more pop off of the bat. At 2B - Wynn shows active footwork hustling into a square fielding position behind the GB. He has good range to his glove-side, makes the plays with soft/sure hands and makes accurate throws to 1B. Getting on a long toss program will help to build arm strength which will take his defensive skills to the next level. A 2018 grad - Wynn has tools with still time to develop and physically mature (get stronger).
