07/22/2014 - College PREP - Washington DC, MD Xavier is a 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Xavier attacks the ball aggressively, he keeps it in front of his body, and he works the double play nicely. He plays through some, and delivers the ball with accuracy to his target. Quicker feet, softer hands, and adding arm strength will help INF skills get better. On the mound, Xavier stands over the rubber well, he separates on time, and lands in a square position. Xavier will need to loosen and lengthen his arm action, get more extension on his pitches, and finish in a better position in order for pitching to improve. Offensively, Xavier has good timing, a square stride, and he tracks the ball well. He has loose hands and raw pop to the pull side. Hitting numbers can rise with more direct hands to the ball, added bat speed, and better barrel accuracy.
