10/06/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Columbia, MD Yash is an athletic RHP who graduate in 2026. On the mound, he works to a controlled balance point, has smooth separation and fires from a clean/loose arm action. He gets strong glove-side lead and stays directional toward the dish. FB ranges from 61-64 mph. Breaking ball shows 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 5 years to further develop, Yash has potential with time and room to progress his game.

10/13/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Baltimore, MD Yash is a young, RHP who will graduate in 2026. On the mound, Yash works well to his balance point, he separates his hands on time, and works on a downhill plane. He keeps his eyes on target, his FB ranges from 52 - 55 MPH, and he competes in the zone. Offensively, Yash has a square stance, good balance, and he loads his hands well. He swings on plane, works the middle of the field, and makes consistent contact. Overall skill can continue to get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
