12/11/2020 - Baseball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Zachary partipated in the Academic All-American Tournament with us December 11-13, 2020. He showed as a solid OF/LHP prospect in the 2022 class. In the OF, he shows the ability to cover ground and finish plays. He throws the ball with a loose arm action (81 mph arm velo) from a 3/4 arm slot. At the plate, Zachary produced consistent line-drive contact (80 mph exit velo) with an on-plane swing path. He swings against a firm front side and engages his lower 1/2 well. From the mound, this LHP showed a two-pitch arsenal (FB/CB) with good feel for mixing pitches. He is quick to the plate, pounding the zone with strikes and working the ball in and out. He remains composed no matter the situation. Cetin has a solid skill-set that should provide success in this upcoming (junior) season.

01/07/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Jacksonville, FL Zachary is a solid OF/LHP prospect who will graduate in 2022. In the field, Zachary shows efficient footwork and flashes good range to his backhand side. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance and keeps his head on throughout his swing, leading to consistent contact. On the mound, Zachary shows a solid delivery as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and stays inline towards the plate. Zachary has a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph with arm side tail. Breaking ball sits from 51-53mph with 12-6 break. Changeup ranges from 49-51mph. Overall abilities will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
