08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Zeb is a coachable RHP/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. On the mound, Zeb works with a good rhythm as he gather over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He shows a clean arm action and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. Zeb has a three pitch mix with his fastball toping out at 79mph. Breaking ball ranges from 67-71mph with late 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 69-72mph with sinking action as he throws with fastball arm speed. Zeb can improve as a pitcher by keeping his eyes on target throughout his motion. In the field, Zeb shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and has a quick release on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. Zeb can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He shows a smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact and gap to gap pop. Zeb can improve as a hitter by keeping his hands inside the ball. Overall, Zeb is a talented prospect who has the potential to excel at the next level.
