2/19/06 – SCR 08 - Baltimore Arm speed and arm action stood out on the mound – stroke was clean, loose and live back and through. Delivery featured great balance and sequence, athletic ability allowed him to repeat it – showed up in his body control, and overall lively actions. Arm speed, athletic delivery and tight / hard breaking pitches point to a jump in fastball velocity. Showed fluid, athletic actions at 3B as well. Hands and feet worked very well and he showed a near well above average arm. Showed bat speed and the ability to center the ball at the plate. Swing was a little big and slightly uphill, hit from an upright position with slight hitch action. |
