08/01/2010 - College Prep Super Regional - Blue Springs, MO - PM Aaron is a young (2013) two-way player at 1B plus in the OF with a tall, thin frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature, filling out. Feet are active but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get, playing through the ball with his body. Footwork around the bag is playable but shows hard hands. In the OF, he makes the routine plays but needs to work on proper routes / angles to track down balls in the OF. Offensively, Mol is aggressive, showing a level swing path but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching his full potential with grades improving with instruction and adjustments. With 3 years to further develop, Aaron has abilities with a lot of room to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
