11/13/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Jose, CA Aaron continues shine in his baseball abilities. At 1B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper foot work around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean presents more out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through a tall setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 70-75 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, shows a good feel for pitch with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as a quality pitches that will get outs. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

06/20/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (HS) Aaron continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.20 runner. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 3 for 7. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 71-75 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with tight spin and gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

07/21/2021 - Baseball Factory Southwest Championships 16U Aaron continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At the plate, hitting / power potential are outstanding through an open setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. Defensively, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows big play potential. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 72-76 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

05/02/2021 - All-In Membership - Reno, NV Aaron is a class of 2024 Outfield prospect. At the plate, he does a good job of staying in his lower ½ and getting it through the baseball. This helps him show off some power potential. Does a good job of being short to the baseball and then extending through. Creates hard contact consistently. Shows the ability to hit to all fields. In the field, he does a good job getting his feet activated through a pre pitch routine. Does a good job working downhill on ground balls. Takes very good routes to fly balls on each side of him. Shows off accurate throws. Aaron is a talented young prospect that we hope to see more of in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
