Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3B/RHPPosition Projection

01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Abram is a 5ft 11/200 3B/RHP in the 2026 class. He recently impressed scouts with his two-way actions at the BF Preseason All American event. Defensively, he has pre-pitch movement and active feet. Likes to work under the baseball to read his hops. Ball sticks to his pocket and his transfers are fast. Uses numerous arm slots based upon his defensives zones and is accurate to his targets. On the mound, he works with great tempo and keeps his fielders engaged. Fields his position well and is an excellent 9th defender. He creates soft contact and collected 5 K’s and no hits in 3 inn of work. His FB sat 75-7 with arm side run. His CB shaped 10-4 with sweeping action at 63-6. He used his change sparingly and scouts feel he should use more based upon its deception and sinking action. At the plate, he is a line drive hitter who flashed power to the pull gap. He engages his hips well and hits off a firm front side. Scouts like his finish and feel if he can stay inside the baseball more, he will increase his power (84 exit velo) and backspin baseballs to the deepest parts of the field. Overall, Abram is a must follow in the 2026 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
