05/21/2023 - National Showcase - Boise, ID Adam is a SS prospect who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame athletic build with strength present. Ran his 60-yard dash in 6.82 seconds. At SS he starts with a good prep step and quick feet. He works from right to left as he closes distance on batted balls with ability to pick out hops. He fields from an athletic fielding position and has a quick transfer. Made on-line throws to first base from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 85mph. Showed good actions on his DP flips and pivots. A right-handed hitter he hits from an athletic and open stance. Showed quick hands and a fast barrel through the hitting zone. A good hip turn enables him to hit hard line drives into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 81mph during BP. With another year of growth and development, we foresee Adam having opportunities to play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
