08/05/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Adam is an OF/INF that showed an ability to make adjustments and improve his game at his latest Factory outing. Offensively, he showed contact ability and discipline at the plate. He worked on keeping his weight balanced and delivering the barrel through the zone. In the outfield, he showed comfortably tracking down balls and staying athletic on his approach. He runs the ball through the cut after a quick release. In the infield, he showed good footwork getting to his fielding position and keeping runners held on. Overall - Adam is a projectable outfielder that runs well down the line at a 4.21 home to first.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
