12/29/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Adam is a young, 2-way player who pitches and plays SS. On the mound, Adam has good balance, he separates on time, and lands in a square position toward home plate. He throws strikes, works hard, and shows a FB that touches 56 MPH. In the INF, Adam has playable hands and feet, he makes the routine plays on balls hit his way, and he has a consistent arm across the diamond. Overall skills can get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
