01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Adam is a tall 2025 1B who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At 1B, he has a good pre-pitch step and fluid footwork. He has good range and gets into an athletic fielding position with soft hands. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has online throws. Throughout the event he showed a great strength in picking out hops and making tough plays around first base. At the plate, he has an open stance and an activated load. He has smooth rhythm and makes his swing look easy. He had consistent hard contact and good connection with his hips and hands. His power has huge upside showcasing a 95 mph exit velocity and good backspin. With a year left to grow develop before his senior season, we foresee that Adam will continue to grow as a ball player.

06/19/2023 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Adam is a tall, solid 1B who is a prospect on the diamond. At 1B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (92 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine with outstanding hitting abilities with pro level power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength (90 mph exit velocity) and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 2 years to further develop, Adam has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
