01/12/2024 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Sarasota Adin is a 2025 1B/RHP who showcased his skills during the BF Spring Training in Sarasota. At 1B he tries to center the ball and has a firm glove. He made accurate throws to all bases from a high 3/4 arm slot. This right-handed pitcher hides the ball well and works with good tempo. He attacks hitters with a FB that sits 63-65mph, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball, and a developing changeup. In 2 innings of work, he punched out 3 batters and only allowed 2 hits. At the plate he hits from an upright and square stance. A lower half driven swing and is centered at contact. In live game action proved to be a tough out as he reached base 3 times with 2 walks and reached on an error. He worked hard all week and was willing to make adjustments. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

05/28/2023 - National Showcase - York, PA Adin is a solid 1B/RHP who will graduate in 2025. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are firm and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows range of 60-64 mph. Breaking ball displays 3/9 shape with sweeping action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Adin has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
