09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Adrian had another great event and showed off his athleticism as a SS/CF. At SS, Adrian displayed soft hands and the ability to move through the baseball. He was accurate on his throws to 1B and attacked the ball with correct angles. At the plate, Adrian impressed with the ability to hit competitively from both sides of the dish. As a RHH, he exhibited a flat smooth stroke with power to the middle of the field. In the LHH batters box, he continued his smooth load and flat stroke where he hit majority line drives. Overall, Adrian is a fantastic athlete with tons of upside to his game.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Adrian continues to shine and showed well again, this time at the High School Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Offensively, this switch hitter shows more naturally from the left side. He maintains an athletic setup with simple/quiet actions and smooth rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is quick as he connects with pop and drives the ball to all parts of the field. He is quick out of the box and down the 1B line, putting pressure on the defense. At 2B, he has active prep with + energy and good lateral range. He presents his glove and fields the ball out in front, funneling smoothly to a clean transfer. Adrian is a talented (2023 grad) who has upside and a bright future ahead on the diamond.

07/04/2020 - Baseball Factory Firecracker Classic 18U Adrian is a very intriguing switch hitting 2B/OF, with a lean/athletic frame. Defensively, he was always working on improving his game, during BP he took live reads training at game speed, and it directly translated to game play. At 2B he moved athletically and had quick active feet to get to the ball. He got his body into an athletic fielding position with his hands in front and was quick/clean with his exchange. His arm played loose and short, while throws were accurate. At the plate he was athletic in his setup, and had a good move to hit, activating his body with rhythm and balance. His hands/hips worked in coordination and he sprayed the ball to all fields. He was very consistent from both sides of the plate, showing a tick better from the left side. From day 1 at camp, it was quite evident his pitch recognition was above average, and continued to be throughout. All in all - Adrian is a very good follow for the next level with a chance to stay in the middle infield with the glove and switch hitting bat.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
