08/16/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game powered by Under Armour Adrian continued to show at the Baseball Factory All-America Game that he is the best defensive shortstop in the 2023 class. It just looks easy and effortless for him on the dirt thanks to his ability to anticipate, his quick-twitch reactions, wide lateral range, sure hands, a quick release, and an accurate, strong arm across the infield. Adrian plays with confidence and life in his body and is both reliable on the routine play and capable of making highlight reel plays as well. At the plate his short, quick stroke works from both sides of the plate. His feel for the barrel and strike zone judgement are both advanced, and the ball comes off his barrel with authority from both sides of the plate. A plus runner who still has projectability in the frame, expect Adrian to be a player whose stock rises throughout the spring.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
