01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Aedan is a 2027 3B who showcased his talents at the BF Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At 3B, he has active footwork and takes direct angles to the baseball. He does a great job working through the baseball and uses momentum into his throws. He throws from a ¾ arm slot and has accurate throws across the infield. At the plate, he has a square stance, has loose hands, and an on-time load. He gets his lower ½ thru well and has good bat speed. In game, Aedan proved to be a tough out. He reached base 6 times with 4 hits and 2 walks. Aedan has a lot of potential on the baseball field and we expect to see great things in the future from him.

11/12/2023 - National Showcase - Marlborough (Boston), MA Aedan is a 3B/RHP in the 2027 class. In the field. His feet are active and he centers his body to the baseball. Gains a squared fielding position and the ball sticks to his pocket. His exchanges are clean and he obtains a loose over-the-top release. Feeds are accurate at75 across the diamond. At the plate, he begins in a tall stance and gets into his load phase well. Likes to be aggressive and swing with intent at 75 exit velo. Displays pull side production with solid extension through the zone. (He did not pitch at the event). Overall, Aedan is an up-and-coming 2027 two-way player with a bright future ahead of him.

12/27/2022 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Aedan is a 3B prospect in the class of 2027. He shows well defensively. Starting with a good prep step before keeping his feet active to help him create range. Fields from an athletic position with his hands presented out front. Shows even more athleticism with his ability to change arm slots. At the plate, he carries over his athleticism. Starts in a relaxed and athletic stance that is combined with a short stride to get himself into a repeatable launch position. Shows fluidity throughout his swing. Does a great job of consistently creating hard contact with help from a good lower ½ and a direct barrel path. Aedan is an athletic prospect that years to continue his development before entering college.

11/03/2022 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex Aeden is a 3B in the 2027 class. In the field, he plays well through the baseball. Stays low in his fielding position and fields the bottom of the ball. His feeds are accurate and has the velo (62 mph) to supply carry across the diamond. Working to stay in his legs with his feeds will quicken his release. At the plate, he begins in a tall set up. And uses a short stride. Loads his hands and stays inside his feet. He has barrel feel and can get his exit speed to 66 mph. Scouts like his ability and with additional speed training, he can blossom into a fine player.

07/18/2022 - All-In Membership - Brockton (Boston), MA Aedan is a young, 2-way player who plays 3B and OF. In the INF, Aedan has active feet, agile range, and he attacks the ball aggressively. He creates a good fielding angle, plays from the ground-up, and throws with accuracy and a loose arm across the diamond. If Aedan can play lower and field further out in front, infield skills can improve. In the OF, Aedan has active feet, soft hands, and he catches the ball at its highest point. He has young/raw actions, a loose arm action, and he gains momentum toward his target. Added reps and arm strength will help abilities improve. Offensively, Aedan has a closed stance, a square stride, and good balance. He has a middle of the field approach, level eyes, and he makes consistent/square contact. If Aedan can improve rhythm, load, and tap into more lower 1/2, hitting numbers will spike.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
