05/23/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bowie, MD Aidan is an athletic SS/OF prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Aidan shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes his stride on time. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to strong line drives and gap to gap power. Overall, Aidan is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

02/15/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Gambrills, MD Aidan continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.15 runner. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. At SS, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. In the OF, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

03/08/2020 - College PREP - Bel Air (Baltimore), MD Aidan continues to shine on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick loose and work to and through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. At SS, feet are aggressive as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He improved his foot speed as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 2B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Barrel accuracy is a plus and he utilizes his lower half well through a line drive approach.

07/16/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Washington, DC Aiden is a SS/OF who will graduate in 2023. Defensively at SS, he takes fluid angles/routes and works into an athletic fielding position on GB's. He has a quick transfer to throw and plays through the ball with smooth actions. In the OF, he takes quick directional angles as he tracks down fly balls. He stays low, presents his hands and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. At the plate, Aiden has fluid rhythm to load and uses a middle of the field approach. He rips his lower 1/2, swings on a direct path through the zone and sprays pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

11/17/2016 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City Aidan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square up balls. He is aggressive attacking ground balls and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. He shows an aggressive approach through a balanced setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, is a great teammate, and works hard to be the best player he can be.

10/08/2016 - Hitting Accelerated Training Weekend (Ages 12-14) Aidan continued to shows his skills at the Accelerated Training Weekend. At the plate, Aidan sets up in a square, athletic stance and takes a short, square stride to the ball. He is fluid getting back into his load and comes through the zone well with his lower half. He has decent bat speed coming through the zone and he uses the entire field well. Aidan can improve as a hitter by staying inside the ball and by using his lower half more throughout his swing. Overall, Aidan is a solid young hitter who has the time and potential to further develop his skills.

08/07/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Wilmington, DE Aidan is a SS/OF who will graduate in 2023. In the infield, Aidan has active feet and is very agile moving to the ball. He gets into a low, athletic position to field with soft hands. He has a clean exchange to throw with a long, loose arm action. He gains momentum on his throws which allows them to be accurate and on line to his target. In the OF, Aidan has active feet and moves fluidly. He is agile moving toward the ball and fields in an athletic position. He presents his hand out front to field the ball and has a clean exchange to throw. He has a short arm action and keeps his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, Aidan sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride to the ball. He gets into his load well and finishes with a firm front side in his lower half. He maintains good balance in his swing as he takes an on plane route to the ball. Overall abilities will improve with work on the following. Infield 1. Field the ball in front 2. Quicker feet Outfield 1. Work behind the ball Hitting 1. Remove arm bar in load 2. Weight training

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
