12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic (MS) Aiden is a lean RHP/3B who will graduate in 2030. At 3B, he displays smooth, fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks the ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 64-65 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sinking action. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength and develop off speed pitches will aid in improving stock on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a team player. With 6 years to further develop, Aiden has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
