Defensively, Aidyn brings great athleticism to the outfield, paired with a strong and accurate arm that makes him a reliable presence in all aspects of the game. His ability to cover ground and make accurate throws makes him a valuable defensive asset. On the mound, Aidyn’s fastball was clocked at 81 MPH, and he also features a curveball at 71 MPH and a changeup at 65 MPH. While he possesses good velocity and the tools to succeed, his command will need refinement to maximize his effectiveness and consistency. With continued work on pitch location and mechanics, Aidyn has the potential to be a highly effective pitcher. At the plate, Aidyn is a line-drive hitter with excellent barrel control, consistently making solid contact and putting the ball in play. While his swing can be a bit unplanned at times, his natural ability to make contact is a great asset. Over the course of the tournament, Aidyn collected two doubles, two singles, and two walks, showing both his ability to hit for extra bases and work the count. What stands out most is his ability to avoid strikeouts—he did not strike out once. Additionally, Aidyn’s speed was on display as he swiped four stolen bases, showing his aggressiveness and base-running ability.
