01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament AJ continues to make strides in his baseball development, showing notable improvements across multiple aspects of his game. His foot speed has progressed, recording his best 60-yard time to date. At shortstop, his defensive abilities have sharpened, displaying clean and fluid actions. His feet remain active as he utilizes proper footwork, working to square up ground balls and playing through them with his body. His glove work is firm and well-presented out front. Laterally, he moves efficiently, and his range will continue to expand as he enhances his foot quickness. Offensively, AJ maintains a squared setup at the plate. His hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path, making consistent contact and spraying the ball to all fields with a line drive approach. His lower half engages well in his swing, generating power through an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, his arm strength has continued to improve, reaching a personal best velocity of 71 mph. His fastball sits between 67-71 mph with movement, while his breaking ball features a 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains good arm speed on his changeup, which has effective sinking action. His control is a strength, as he confidently attacks hitters and consistently throws strikes. As he builds additional arm strength through a long toss program, his overall stock as a pitcher will continue to rise.
