12/11/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Delray Beach, FL Alan is a strong SS with skills on the rise. At SS, Alan has solid actions, active feet, and firm hands. He fields squarely, makes plays consistently, and his exchange is clean; throwing with consistency and momentum to his target. At the plate, Alan is a strong hitter with an open stance and good balance. He has fast bat speed, shows a direct barrel and bat path, and he works the ball well gap to gap. Alan lowered 60 time to 7.12 seconds and raised arm velocity to 82 MPH during the workout.

08/01/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (HS) - HOTEL Alan is a SS/2B prospect who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame, with athletic build and a projectable frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. At SS, starts with active feet and a good prep step as he creates good fielding angles. Works low to high with a square fielding position and a clean exchange. Aggressive routes to ground balls with ability to stay low on balls to his back hand. Short/clean arm action into a high 3/4 release with accurate/on-line throws across diamond at 80mph. A right-handed hitter, he begins with an upright stance and even stance. Balanced setup who gets knob to C to start his swing. Gets on-plane early with some quickness to hand and ability to spray balls to all fields. Reached base multiple times, and had a bat exit velocity of 79mph in live games. With another year of continued growth and development, we foresee Alan having opportunities to play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
