06/03/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Alex is an athletic SS who shows as a top prospect on the diamond. In the field, Alex shows fluid footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an athletic setup. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud line drives and great gap to gap power. Overall, Alex is a talented prospect who will be among the top in his class.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Alex showed plus abilities, good speed, and solid strength at the UA Pre-Season. He is a talented all around player. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
