11/08/2012 - Baseball Factory Training & Competition at Pirate City Alexander is a tall/long outfielder that will graduate in 2014. Defensively, he is aggressive charging balls in front of him, hustles, and showed an ability to make adjustments in just a short time of instruction. His arm is accurate but he lacks arm strength. He plays high, drifts on fly balls, and falls off on his throws. Offensively, he has some balance in his setup, decent strike zone discipline, showed an ability to spray the ball with his line-drive swing path, and moves well down the line. He has a tendency to over stride - pulling himself off balance, is too stiff, and late with his load causing him to stray away from his line-drive swing path, at times. Overall, he is a nice/coachable kid that needs to continue working to get better and become an everyday corner outfielder.
