04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ
Alexander is a 2026 LHP/OF prospect with an athletic frame at 5'10" 130 pounds. In the OF, he shows off active feet and does a nice job pre-pitch of getting in a good ready position. He does a nice job of staying loose and has good range and tracks the ball well. He gets in a squared fielding position and presents his hands out in front, making sure to catch the ball high. He makes consistent throws into his targets and works hard to get the ball out quickly. At the plate, he starts in a closed stance and gets a really nice load with a short, squared, on-time stride to the pitcher. His movements are very smooth and fluid and he lets his lower half lead, doing well to stay centered throughout his swing. He has a great direct bat path to the baseball and makes consistent, line-drive contact. Recorded a max exit velo of 81 MPH. On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 arm angle and features a 4-pitch mix. He gathers his balance over the rubber and gets to a great balance point before getting on-time separation. He keeps his eyes on the target throughout his delivery and stays squared to the plate. His arm action is quick and clean and he gets good extension with his lead arm. He has a good controlled landing with proper stride length. His FB has some tail and he does a great job of throwing his CH with FB arm speed. He has good feel for his CB and throws it with 2-8 gradual break, and his SL has 3-9 action. Alexander is an exciting prospect that should continue to develop nicely with 3+ more years of high school baseball!
06/24/2022 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (MS)
Alexander is an athletic LHP/OF prospect who showed well during the Select Training at the CWS. On the mound, Alexander gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Alexander operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 71mph. Changeup sits at 59mph with tailing action. In the field, Alexander shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making strong/accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He gets into a simple load and is explosive driving his lower half through. He works through a compact swing with plus barrel control, displaying gap to gap power. Overall, Alexander is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
04/03/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ
Alexander showed nice upgrades in his game during his last workout in Trenton. He showed spikes in offensive numbers, defensive fielding, and he ran his best 60 to date. In the OF, Alexander moves fluidly to the ball, he has good agility, and fluid/active footwork. He has firm hands, he makes plays consistently, and has an accurate arm with momentum to his cut off man. OF skills can improve if Alexander can use 2 hands and quicken his exchange. On the mound, Alexander has good balance, a repeatable delivery, and a clean arm circle. He works in good tempo, separates his hands on time, and throws strikes. More arm extension, and added velocity will help abilities on the mound improve. At the plate, this LHH has an athletic stance, good balance, and a rhythmic swing. He has fast bat speed, a direct barrel, and he uses his lower body.
01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Alexander is a talented LHP/OF in the 2026 class. In the field, he has active feed and gains ground to the baseball well. He takes solid routes and attack angles are aggressive on groundball play. He fields in a low athletic position and throws from a high ¾ slot. Has the arm (72 velo) and accuracy to play all three OF spots. Working on fielding the baseball in front of his eyes will allow a smoother transition from catch to throw and eliminate steps prior to release. On the mound, he displays a good feel for pitching. He uses a 3-pitch mix from a ¾ arm slot. His FB topped at 68 with natural tail. His CB sat 54-7 with depth. His CH sat 63 and sells the pitch with fluid FB arm speed. At the plate, he has loads of potential. He beings with a tall and slightly open stance. His stride is short and pushes his backfoot into the ground on his load. Has the bat speed (70 exit velo) and barrel awareness to be a potential strong gap to gap hitter. Working on his timing and getting his front foot down will unlock his power. Overall, Alexander has an advanced skill set for a 2026 grad and will only continue to increase his abilities with further experience on the diamond.
12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic
Alexander is a coachable LHP/OF in the class of 2026 out of New York. In the outfield, he showed active footwork when getting behind the ball and played through the baseball with smooth actions. His throws were on line to his cutoff with accuracy and carry. At the plate, he used a square set up with a controlled load and good timing to work short to the ball. He had quick hands which allowed him to barrel balls consistently to all fields with power to the pull side. On the mound, he stayed composed and worked ahead of hitters with his fastball. His fastball topped out at 69 mph while his breaking ball had a 2/8 action and his change up was deceptive at 59-62 mph. Alexander could benefit from programs/drills such as long toss, strength training, angle bp drill, arm path, speed & agility.
08/21/2021 - Summer Pro Training Experience - MD (MS)
Alex continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are loose and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 70 mph. Fastball showed a range of 66-68 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 10/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup which makes him very deceptive. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Alexander continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he reads balls well off the bat and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind ball and plays through with momentum to his target. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. At the event, he was 3 for 7 with 2 BB. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 67 mph. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Alexander is a LHP/OF prospect who showcased his skills during the All-State Tournament. On the mound, Alexander gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with a controlled landing. Alexander operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 62mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 56-57mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 57-58mph. In the field, Alexander shows active footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he makes on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a crouched stance with center balance. He is smooth to load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to strong contact to all fields. With five more years to develop, Alexander has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Alexander is a LHP/OF prospect in the class of 2026. In the field, he does a good job of using good feet to work downhill. Shows aggression to get to the baseball and plays through the baseball well. Creates momentum to throw and has good carry on the baseball. At the plate, he starts in a square and athletic stance. Does a good job getting into his load. Good timing and use of his lower ½ produce consistent contact through the middle of the field. On the mound, he did a good job commanding the strike zone with all three of his pitches. Simple delivery allowed him to repeat it. Showed the ability to keep hitters off balance by working all pitches in any counts. Alexander is a fun prospect to watch that we hope to see more of in the future.

He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. He shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 58 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight run but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. He can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength.

Alexander is a LHP/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. Continuing to add strength can help Alexander improve as a hitter. With five more years to develop, Alexander has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Alexander worked out in the OF and on the mound during his last workout in Bel Air, MD. Defensively, skills are solid, feet are active, and he covers ground well. He works behind fly balls properly, his exchange is clean, and he throws with momentum and accuracy to his cut off man. On the mound, this LHP has good balance and a loose/clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, gets good extension on his pitches, and lands squarely toward the plate. Offensively, Alexander has an open stance, a level swing path, and good balance. He has a direct barrel, keeps his hands inside the ball, and shows the ability to work the ball to all fields.

Alexander continues to show steady progress in his baseball abilities. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work to get behind more and play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 52-54 mph He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to develop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

Alexander showed nice abilities in the OF during his last workout with The Factory. He is an aggressive OF with active feet, good range, and he makes plays consistently. He fields in a low position, his exchange is clean, and he delivers the ball with accuracy from a long arm action. On the mound, this LHP stands over the rubber well balanced, he has a clean arm circle, and some glove side lead. Mechanics are simple, he has a controlled landing toward home, and he shows projectable skills. Offensively, Alexander has a closed stance, good balance, and a short/compact swing. He loads well, has a short/direct barrel, and he can spray the ball to all fields. Alexander can continue to improve with work on the following.
