08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Andrew showcased his talents impressively at the All-Ripken event in Aberdeen, MD, as both an infielder and a right-handed pitcher. On the mound, he displayed a solid fastball that effectively attacked hitters. As he continues to refine his mechanics, focusing on throwing downhill will help him create better angles to challenge opposing batters. Athletically gifted, Andrew has the potential to develop into a strong baseball player. At the plate, he recorded multiple hits, including a standout triple during the event games. His good eye for the strike zone allowed him to make quality swings on pitches within his reach, highlighting his offensive promise. With continued development in both hitting and pitching, Andrew is definitely one to watch!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
