07/18/2024 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC Andrew is an athletic and fast OF/RHP in the 2028 class. In the field, he covers ground with his 7.65 speed and has a high defensive IQ. He has a positive 1st step, creates closing speed and takes the correct angles to work behind the baseball. Arms plays at 72 and scouts describe him as a plus defender. On the mound, he worked 4 innings and collected 3 strike outs. His FB sat 63-8 and he can sink it. His CB ranged 60-1 and shaped 10-4 in the zone. Had a great week at the plate with several quality at-bats. Had 2 BB’s, 2 sb”s and several hard hit outs. Has excellent bat to ball skills and ball jumps at 74 exit velo. Scouts love his leadership and feel he has great captain type characteristics.

03/24/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ Andrew is an OF/RHP who will graduate in 2028. Starts with a good prep step and works through the baseball. He fields from a square fielding position with ability to find good hops. Made accurate throws into infield from a 3/4 arm slot and arm velocity up to 72mph. A right-handed hitter he starts with an athletic and open stance. Gets knob to C and swings with intent. A direct barrel path enables him to hit line drives to all fields. On the mound he gathers over the rubber and has a controlled landing. He challenges hitters with a FB that sits 63-65mph, a 9/3 breaking ball, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed. Andrew should have a bright future on the baseball field with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
