06/06/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Andrew is a talented catching prospect who can catch and throw. Behind the plate, he sits low with flexion and receives with a soft mitt. He moves well laterally to deaden/center balls in the dirt off of his chest. Throws to 2B are on a line and on the bag coming from a quick transfer/exchange (pop times of 1.93). With the bat, this athletic righty displays a balanced setup with a solid base. Hands are quick as he takes an aggressive hack, squares the ball up and drives it to the gaps. Stanley possesses the skill-set that will translate very well into the next level of play.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
