05/07/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Bowie, MD Andrew is a SS/RHP. Defensively at SS, he works into a low position and fields the ball with soft hands. He has a clean exchange and fires throws from multiple arm slots. On the mound, this righty delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He keeps his eyes on target as he works in line towards home plate. With the stick, Andrew presents a smooth rhythm to load. He swings level through the zone as he drives pitches back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
