08/04/2010 - Pirate City World Series 2010 - Session 1 Andrew is a young (2013) two-way player at 1B plus on the mound with a big, strong frame that is well suited for his positions. Currently, he projects best at 1B for the next level. Feet are active but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get, playing through the baseball with his body. Glove action is clean and smooth but deep due to feet stopping through the fielding process. Throws show accuracy, flashing carry as he will benefit by getting on a long toss program. Offensively, Worth shows an aggressive approach as he works to keep hands inside the baseball, utilizing all fields. He has strength in his swing with baseball jumping off his bat when centered. Power is best to the pull side due to long swing path. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 71-73 mph with below average off speed pitches that need further developments to be quality pitches at the next level. With 2 years to further develop, Andrew has abilities with room and time to improve.
