01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Anson is a 6ft 1/165 3B/1B in the 2026 class. He recently impressed scouts at the BF Preseason All American event at IMG Academy. In the field, he has excellent pre-pitch movement and his feet work well. He covers his defensive zone well and moves well to glove/arm sides. Pocket has feel and he maintains a center of gravity. Shows a loose arm from a 3 qtr. slot and his ball has life across the diamond. At the plate, he begins in an open stance and gets into his load well. Has fluid timing and stays inside his feet for great balance. Path is direct with solid extension and his barrel finds the baseball. Creates line drive production at 82 exit velo. Overall, Anson is just scratching the surface of his potential and scouts are eager to witness his development at future BF events.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
