01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Anthony showed as a prospect at the Preseason All American showcase. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He starts in an athletic ready position and fields in a square position. Glove action is sure and present well out front. Throws are accurate to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. On the mound, he shows a 3-pitch mix, keeping hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 80-82 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with tight spin and late break. Slider is harder with short break. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Overall, Anthony is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ Anthony is a 2025 3B/RHP prospect from Toms River, NJ. At third, he shows off efficient feet and good range. He presents his hands out in front and does a good job of reading hops. He excels in working right to left through the baseball to his throwing target across the diamond. His exchange is clean and he makes consistently accurate throws. He does a really nice job of getting low on his double play feeds. At the plate, he starts with an open stance and gets a squared stride towards the pitcher with a good hand load. He has nice fluid rhythm in the box and does a good job of keeping his balance centered through contact. His lower half works through the baseball and he features explosive bat speed and an exceptional bat whip. His swing path is on-plane and he makes hard consistent contact, working the gaps with a lot of intent. Recorded a high exit velo of 88 MPH. On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 arm angle and features a 3-pitch mix. He does a good job of getting his balance over the rubber and separating on-time with an impressive balance point. He showed off good command with a quick, clean arm action. His stride is the proper length and he has a smooth, controlled landing, doing well to stay squared to the plate throughout. His CB features 11-5 gradual break and his SL has short 10-4 action. Able to throw both breaking balls for strikes consistently. Overall, Anthony is an exciting prospect that we are excited to see more of in the future!

03/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ Anthony continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and is a prospect on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth /fluid actions. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent hard contact, displaying strength with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 79 mph. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with across break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Manalapan, NJ Anthony is a RHP/3B prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on-time. Has a quick/clean arm action in the back and gets good extension out front. A 2-pitch pitcher who attacks hitters with his FB that sat 73-76mph with arm side run and a 10/4 shaped breaking ball with good depth in the strike zone. In the infield, has a good prep step, with active feet, and he shows good lateral range. He works to center the baseball, with hands out front, and ability to pick out hops. He made accurate/on-line throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 81mph across diamond. Showed ability to play on the run and has good effort. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an upright and even stance. Starts with a small hand load, with intent in swing, and a fast barrel through the hitting zone. He hits into a firm front side and showed some late bat whip. A direct bat path enables him to hit hard line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 84mph. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Anthony making huge strides on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
