His quick, precise throws to second base consistently come in at 2.19 seconds, with an impressive arm velocity of 85 mph. He demonstrates excellent technique with a relaxed mitt and firm wrist, and his ability to block and recover quickly is exceptional - his swift down-and-up movements, combined with a tucked chin, allow him to be a reliable force defensively. As a right-handed hitter, he starts in an open stance, using natural strength and solid mechanics to square up balls to all fields at 86 mph, finishing with a high, fluid swing. With two more years of growth and development, he has the potential to further refine his skills and continue to excel in all aspects of his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
