04/11/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Anthony is a 2025 SS/OF. Tall frame athletic build with present strength on build and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary SS, plays underneath the baseball with good lateral range. Efficient footwork creating good angles and attacking balls downhill. Good double play feeds and pivots. Clean exchange and quick release throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity of 78mph. Secondary OF, active feet working behind and through the ball. 1 hand high catch with a clean transfer. Showed a quick release on balls into the infield. Right-handed hitter, begins with a square and athletic stance. Controlled load with good rhythm and balance. Linear path through the zone with good extension out front. Ability to drive balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 81mph. We see Anthony making an impact at the high school level in the years to come.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
