11/16/2014 - College PREP - Marlborough (Boston), MA Anthony is a 2016 grad that projects as a RHP. On the mound, he throws from the 3/4 arm slot with decent command. He keeps his eyes on the mitt with repeatable mechanics. FB sits in the mid 70s topping out at 77 with a late cut. His CB resembles the 11/5 shape and CH shows late break in the low 70s. Offensively, this righty is on time with his square stance and activated hands. He uses his lower 1/2 to hit to all fields. Overall, Anthony showed some skills on the bump and will eat up some innings this upcoming Spring.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
