06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Anthony is a talented and athletic 2023 SS prospect. In the field, he showed very good footwork and the ability to cover ground. He did a good job fielding beneath the baseball and worked his soft hands out front. Has a quick and clean exchange before creating momentum to show off his high level arm (87 MPH) across the infield. At the plate, he does a good job getting hand to hip separation and swung with intent. Was able to show a advanced line drive approach to the center of the field. Recorded a hit in live game action. Anthony is a talented player that will continue develop in the next 2 years before college.

11/07/2020 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Pompano Beach, FL Anthony is a SS prospect who continues to make steady improvements on the diamond. In the field, Anthony moves light on his feet and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid to load and hits against a strong front side. He stays direct through the ball with explosive bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. Overall, Anthony is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his strong foundation of skills.

07/13/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Anthony is a skilled (2023 grad) SS who can pick it. Defensively, he has active prep moving well on the balls of his feet. He has smooth/athletic actions working right to left and fielding the ball with soft/sure hands. Transfer is quick with accuracy across the diamond on his throws. As a hitter, he displays an open stance getting back into a loaded position. He takes a hack, hits the ball where it's pitched and sprays it to all parts of the field. Added power will come with increased bat speed and more drive from his lower 1/2. This 2023 grad has upside with still time to develop.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
