03/28/2010 - College PREP - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Anthony currently projects even at both the SS and OF positions and still has a couple season to improve at both. At SS, Anthony is consistent in making the plays and has a quick exchange. His hands and feet work well together, he just needs to slow down and not rush as much. He has an accurate arm across the diamond with some life. Defense can improve if Anthony can work to field the ball lower and in a more athletic fielding position, as well as loosening his arm action. In the OF, Anthony has an aggressive approach, stays down on the ball, and takes appropriate angles to the ball. He gets rid of the ball quickly and his throws have okay life on them. A better crow hop, and more use of his lower 1/2 could help his arm grade improve, thus helping his overall OF rating. Offensively, Anthony is balanced and he puts the ball in play. He has a little pop when pulling the baseball, but will need more direct hands and extension to the ball, and more back side involvement. Anthony still has 2 seasons to further develop his skills.
