06/04/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Medford (Boston), MA Anthony is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2022. Defensively at SS, he displays active footwork as he gets into a square fielding position on GB's. He gets rid of the ball in a hurry with a clean exchange and makes accurate/on line throws to his target. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber and drives his lower 1/2 off the mound. He keeps his pitches down in the zone as he works in line and finishes strong towards home plate. With the bat, Anthony shows a strong base with smooth rhythm to load. He whips his barrel fast through the zone as he drives pitches on a line with hard contact. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
