Athletically, he showcases quick reflexes and agility, with a 7.19-second 60-yard dash, a 90-inch broad jump, and a 4.65-second home-to-first time, demonstrating his explosiveness. His grip strength (104 left, 110 right) adds to his raw power potential. At the plate, he records an 82 mph exit velocity, indicating developing offensive potential. Arvis continues to shine with his baseball abilities on the diamond. Behind the dish, feet are quick as he shows good direction, working in line to get rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in 2.20 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He tracks the ball well and presents a firm mitt in sticking pitches. Working to get body down sooner to be on time will aid in improving blocking skills. At the plate, he continues to shine, through a squared, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side.
12/01/2023 - Baseball Factory Academic All-American Tournament
Arvis continues to impress with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Academic All-American showcase. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball showed a range of 72-75 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
07/28/2023 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (MS)
Arvis is a talented 2027 SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the BF National World Series. At SS he plays hard and never takes a pitch off. Starts in a relaxed stance and gains a positive 1st step. Works right to left and has a low funnel. Has a quick/clean exchange and throws from multiple arm slots with an arm velocity up to 83mph. On the mound, he shows a good mound presence with a feel for pitching. He attacks hitters with a FB that sits 68-69mph and a changeup with sinking action that he throws with FB arm speed. His changeup is a swing and miss pitch that had hitters fooled all week long. In 2 innings of work, he only allowed 1 hit and induced soft contact. At the plate, he shows an aggressive mindset and looks for his pitch early. He can use the whole field and has a high finish. During the tournament, he made loud noises at the plate and reached base 3 times with a double, a single, and a walk. Arvis is a talented prospect who we hope to see at another event.
05/07/2023 - National Showcase - Newnan, GA
Arvis is an athletic C/OF who is a prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.16 with accuracy / carry (83 mph velocity) on his throws. Times will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. In the OF, defensive abilities are solid as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. With 4 years to further develop, Arvis has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.

Arvis is a lean SS/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls but needs to play through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 71-72 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Arvis has potential with time and room to progress his game.
