07/10/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National East Austin is a tall, athletic RHP that will graduate in 2016 and shows as a possible draft guy with his abilities on the mound. Delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Arm strength is at a pro level as indicated by his top velocity of 91 mph. Fastball shows a range of 87-91 mph on a downhill plane. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing a plus feel for with arm side run. Off speed stuff shows as outstanding pitches that will get outs at the next level. Command / control is tremendous as he locates well to both sides of the plate and changes speeds well through a quick tempo. Dickey has a tremendous upside and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his abilities on the mound.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
