He demonstrates smooth, fluid actions at first base, paired with excellent footwork around the bag and reliable receiving skills. His clean hands and feet allow him to cover a lot of ground effectively, and his range will improve as he increases his foot quickness. At the plate, Benjamin continues to impress with his athletic stance, quick hands, and level swing path, making solid contact with pull-side pop. His barrel accuracy and strength in his swing stand out. With significant potential for growth, Benjamin has a promising future in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
