10/14/2012 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Ben is a thin, athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 1B. On the mound, Ben has a short / loose arm, smooth separation, and level shoulders. He repeats his delivery, keeps his eyes on target, and he finishes in a square position. More lower 1/2 explosion, and finishing off his pitches will improve mound effectiveness. At 1B, Ben has playable hands and feet, he makes plays, and he throws with okay accuracy to his target. Playing lower and finishing his throws can help defense improve. Offensively, Ben has a tall / open stance, a short stride, and good balance. He finds the barrel and puts the bat on the ball. Hitting can improve with a looser grip, a shorter swing, and better timing.
