07/15/2011 - Team One South 2011 Blake is a 1B with a tall, solid frame that will graduate in 2013. Foot speed is well below average as he must get on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Feet are active but needs to attack balls while plating through a low approach. Hands are soft and clean but get deep due to his feet stopping through the fielding process. Throws are accurate but will benefit by getting on a long toss program to aid in building more arm strength and carry. Offensively, Glass shows a balanced approach and strength in his swing. He works to keep hands inside as he generates plus bat speed to and through the ball. Power numbers are outstanding with the baseball exploding off his bat when centered with grades improving as he learns to utilize his lower half more efficiently through the swing. With 2 years to further develop, Blake has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the college coaches with his abilities at the plate.
