11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Braden is an young, athletic, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. Defensively, Braden has active feet, a quick first step to the ball, and he takes good angles. He fields squarely, his exchange is clean, and he throws with momentum and consistency from a loose arm action to his cut of man. If Braden can work behind fly balls quicker, then play more through, abilities in the OF can get even better. On the mound, Braden has good balance, a loose arm action, and on-time hand separation. He works in good tempo, works well to his balance point, and competes in the zone. More eyes on target, arm extension, and a better finish will help mound effectiveness get better. At the plate, Braden has an athletic stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has loose hands, a short/consistent barrel, and he hits well gap to gap with pop.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
