08/18/2024 - National Showcase - Oak Creek (Milwaukee), WI Braden is a rising 7th grade C/1B from Milwaukee WI. In the infield he plays with good effort and energy and was coachable. Tries to keep the ball in front of him and has a low funnel. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot and made consistent throws to all bases. Behind the dish, he stays low and tracks baseball to mitt. Presents a good target and has a clean exchange. Made accurate throws to second base with a best pop time of 3.05 seconds. Shows good rhythm at the plate and has a short glide step. During his round of BP, he did a good job of keeping his hands inside the baseball and hitting balls to all fields. With six years of continued growth and development, we foresee Braden making huge strides on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
