06/17/2024 - College World Series Experience - Session 1 Brady continues to shine with his baseball abilities on the diamond. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

02/24/2024 - National Showcase - Lake Zurich (Chicago), IL Brady is a 5 ft 11/185 3B in the 2025 class. Scouts love his make up and his strong lower half strength. In the field, he shows solid pre-pitch movements and he gains a squared fielding position. The ball sticks to his glove and he can redirect with clean actions. Arm action is short from a high 3 qtr slot and he can get the ball in the air quickly. Throws provide accuracy and are on-line to his targets. Shows solid footwork on double play feeds as well. At the plate, he begins with a closed stance and gains a short stride. Gets into his legs well and hits off a firm front side. Creates consistent contact at 81 exit velo and squares the ball up well. Overall solid prospect in the 2025 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
